I found slices of the world I wanted to create for myself in New York.
I met strangers on trains, in parks, at coffee shops & bodegas. Strangers I had meaningful, whole-hearted conversations with. Ones I learned from, and won't forget.
I basked in sunshine, journaled, explored solo, and laughed so hard I came to tears.
So when I decided to end the year in travel, I knew I had to make it meaningful, intentional, and open-hearted. I wanted to write about every aspect of my journey - both in simple & typical blog-style posts, and more emotional journal entries. That's when I began ideating the possible names for a blog.
On a random whim, I decided to search the classic, dictionary.com for the word of the day on my prior birthday.
It felt like the stars aligned.
