Golden, CO #arrivederci

Golden, Colorado is anything but far from home. A 15 minute drive from the house I called mine for two years, Golden stood as a short-term test-run for my adventures. A place to pack my things, finalize loose ends, and lay my head while I took my last few clients in Denver.

I rented a shared Airbnb, and found myself surrounded with men from around the world. At first, I was nervous, and then - I found out they all were studying some form of science or math nearby, and seemed harmless to say the least. We connected over loves for Colorado air, and traveling the world.

In Golden, I had space to prepare myself for this journey. I had time to process, say my goodbyes, and rid myself of all the things non-essential.

Even though I wasn't far from home, I'll never forget my time in Golden. It stands as a crucial piece of my #arrivederci journey. It was the first step, the one where I decided I really was going to do this.

Oh, and the Airbnb was cute. Always a plus.

x,

arrivederci
