There's something deeply intimate about spending time in someone's hometown.
Meeting Alyssa's family has been the most lovely experience. They welcomed me with open arms and open hearts; more than I ever could have imagined. I immediatley felt at home - a feeling I'm unfamiliar with.
I am so thankful to have added Montana to my journey, not just for finding a deeper understanding of Alyssa, but because I quickly fell in love with the heart of this place. Something about the calm beauty of tree farms, grazing cows, and neighborhood giraffes - paired peacefully with rodeo nights, wooden dance floors and home-town ice cream.
I found a home in Kalispell I wasn't expecting to find. I have always loved being swung around a dance floor, quiet towns, and a good beer - but I never thought I'd carefully consider moving to the middle of nowhere Montana.
I mean, Flathead lake was reason enough. Add in Alyssa's beautiful family full of heart, family-owned diners, and cowboys? How can I resist?
For the love of all things Montana,
arrivederci
