Seattle, WA #arrivederci

Updated: Dec 12, 2023

The first solo stop.

Alyssa was kind enough to spend a few days with me exploring Washington & helping me settle in before heading back home. We filled our few final days together to the brim - with hiking, city walks, journaling, movie nights, sushi & shopping. It was glorious.

After Alyssa left, I found myself resting for a few days. Hibernating and spending some much-needed time with self. I hadn't realized I needed some time to process all of the changes of the last few months. So much happened in such a short amount of time. It was good to crawl inside of my own head. If you want to read all about that, though, you'll have to explore the Instagram page devoted to trashy emo-tumblr poetry.

After some significant downtime, I started exploring more of the city on my own. I tried to settle into work in various coffee shops around Seattle and the surrounding areas, searching for the spots that people often pass by & chatting with the locals. I met some amazing people in while I was here. Seattle felt like a cozy, calm, quiet entrance into the rest of this journey on my own. I don't think I would change a single thing about my experiences here; but, I don't see myself living in Washington.

I loved Bainbridge Island, downtown Tacoma, Bellevue, and of course, Pioneer Square. Taking the train and wandering quietly through downtown Seattle filled my mind with wonder and gave me a sweet, soft, comfort that I desperately needed before heading to my next stop.

x,

arrivederci

oh, and a few shots from Bellevue, just some landscapes I loved, and a couple, sweet enough to allow me to take some shots of them.
